*Machinery sector is the 2nd largest sector in Turkey’s export.
*Turkish machinery is competitive on a global scale with customers spread across 200 countries.
*The value of machinery export is over 12 billion USD in 2015. Aiming to grow annually.
*With an average annual rate of 15% over the last 5 years, Turkish machinery export has taken the 3rd place in rank of world export increase.
*Over the last 5 years, the highest increase was realized in the machinery sector. Machinery export has achieved 67% increase.
*Over the last 12 years, machinery export has increased 7 fold.
*About 60% of our export is to the EU and USA. New potential markets have been declared for new opportunities.
*The share of Turkish machinery export is 8,25% in Turkey’s total export in 2015. Total export of Turkey has occurred as 144 billion $ in the same year.
*By the year 2023, Turkish machinery aims to double their share within Turkey’s total export. (P.S.: 2023 is the 100th Anniversary of the Turkish Republic)

Input costs include competitive labor cost, an affordable and reliable energy supply, and logistical advantages based on the geostrategic location of Turkey, while enablers include a skilled workforce, generous investment incentives, an innovation-oriented infrastructure, and a strong supply base and domestic clusters.
